Wonderful Mid-20th Century Shiraz Rug

A brilliant mid-20th Century Shiraz rug with an incredibly woven pattern containing three large central diamond medallions, each with multiple stylized flowers, all woven in crimson, white, and gold, on bright crimson backgrounds. The medallions live on a field of heavily populated stylized flowers on a dark indigo background. The border is complex with three distinct stylized geometric patterns with similarly dyed crimson, gold, indigo, and green wool.
