Extraordinary Early 20th Century Tabriz Rug

An extraordinary early 20th century Persian Tabriz rug with a beautiful large round floral medallion woven with a petite floral and scrolling vine pattern rendered in crimson, gold, light and dark indigo, green, and pink. The medallion lives on a field of similarly patterned flowers and scrolling vines on a dark indigo ground. The border is outstanding, with a wide central floral and leaf patterned stripe flanked by matching petite floral patterned stripes.
