Incredible Late 19th Century Bakhshyesh Rug

An incredible late 19th century Persian Bakhshyesh rug with a bold all-over tribal pattern of stylized flowers and leaves woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, pink, and white vegetable dyed wool, on a brilliant crimson background. The border is wide, with a central indigo stripe flanked by a pair of thinner stripes, all with a similar stylized floral and leaf pattern.
