An unbelievable early 20th Century Persian Sultanabad rug with a fantastic tribal pattern with a densely woven field of stylized flowers with a lacy trellis pattern woven with an abrash indigo color. The border is fantastic with a wide stripe containing alternating large-scale flowers and lions attacking deer, on a coral colored background, flanked by three matching pairs of petite floral patterned stripes.
