A wonderful whimsical early 20th Century Persian Isfahan rug with a mesmerizing pattern of intricately and tightly woven pattern of multicolored floral and scrolling vines on a rich indigo background. Amidst the floral pattern are myriad animals including peacocks, cranes, roosters, and deer. The border is complex with a large central field of scrolling vines and lilies on a light indigo background, flanked by multiple floral and vine borders.
