Wonderful Early 20th Century Karabad Rug

A wonderful early 20th century Persian Karabab rug with a bold tribal pattern containing a large central stylized floral medallion woven in light indigo and crimson on a dark indigo background amidst a field of multiple stylized flowers and geometric patterned motifs. The border is complex with a wide central geometric and stylized floral patterned central stripe flanked by two matching, but contrasting colored, petite floral and scrolling vine patterned stripes.
