Wonderful Early 20th Century Kashan Rug

A wonderful early 20th Century Persian Kashan rug with a densely woven field and medallion of myriad flowers, leaves, and vines, all woven in orange, indigo, gold, and cream colored wool. The border is complex and as densely woven as the field, with a large floral and vine motif amidst various other flowers, on a similar orange background, flanked by two matching petite-scale floral borders.
